[Dreams] Featured posts under header

This widget will only appear on homepage.

Add 3 widgets under “Featured Items Header” widget.

Note: You cannot choose the image on your own, WordPress will automatically choose the featured image you upload or the first image of your post if you do not have featured image on your post or page.

Genesis Featured Post : You can display your latest blog post or specific post from all categories or specific category. You must attach a featured image (or at least 1 image) to the post so Genesis can automatically grab the image and display it here.

Follow this setting for genesis-featured post widget (see the red box) :

• Category – Select which posts one you one to display
• Number of posts to display – 3 (Only 3)
• Order by – Date published if you want to display the latest posts, can be changed to random
• Show featured image – Yes
• Image size – featured_post
• Show post title – Yes
• Show post info – Yes, change the input box to : [post_categories before =””]
• Content type – No content
• Save
