If your custom Kadence Design Library / Patterns are not loading and you see this message:
“This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed”
Try these quick troubleshooting steps:
1. Clear Your Website Cache
Cached files can prevent newly connected design libraries from loading properly.
If you use a caching plugin (such as LiteSpeed Cache, WP Rocket, SG Optimizer, etc.), clear/purge all cache.
Also clear:
- Your Browser cache
- CDN cache (if using Cloudflare)
2. Test in Incognito / Private Window
Open your WordPress dashboard in an Incognito/Private browser window and check the Design Library again.
If it works in Incognito, the issue is usually caused by cached browser files.
3. Hard Refresh the Page
Try a hard refresh to force your browser to load fresh files:
Windows: Ctrl + F5 or Ctrl + Shift + R
Mac: Cmd + Shift + R
4. Reopen the Editor
Close the page editor and open it again after clearing cache.
In many cases, this resolves the preview issue immediately.
